This program focuses on the heritage of African-Americans and the journey from slavery to freedom. Your performer will demonstrate how storytelling, music, and dance were used to preserve their unique cultures and instill morals and values.
Through interaction and participation, students will discover how these lessons helped people endure the harsh realities of slavery in colonial times.
